In summer it's fun to mix spots with other patterns, like stripes, which give a strong impact but don't clash.
The rules of use are easy and the first one to remember is that spots give the visual impression of expansion, which can be great for creating sensual curves and volume. But if you want the oppostie, polka-dot is best used in small doses with shoes or scarves which create a striking image without compromising body image.
