Pineapples everywhere
Tropical prints are popular this season, but pineapple print is breaking all the records. They are being worn in all shapes, sizes and colours, photos y illustrations, on accessories like bags, earrings, necklaces and even phone cases. And, of course, clothes: tops, trousers, skirts, dresses…
We owe this recent trend to Stella McCartney, who created a T-shirt for Chloë with a pineapple in the centre, from then it's been followed by designers like Dolce&Gabbana and Moschino, who adapted the print. Even Rhianna has signed up to the trend.
With it's fun look, this fruit has come to take the central role of fruit prints. It's summer escence, makes us feel fresh, but be careful, don't just put it with any old thing.
A tip, don't go over board! because there is such a thing as too much pineapple.
For example, wear a T-shirt with just 1 pineapple picture or small prints, and shorts, wear it with our 4609 Porto Sun from Brako creating a laid-back, fun and look.
If you want to wear the print during the day, our advice is either a pineapple print dress or skirt with a crop top or simple blouse. Add a summery purse, your favourite sunglasses and 3407 Swing Aquamarine to complete your look. Some skinny leg jeans in pineapple print create an smart look, give it an elegant look with 1926 Tessa Pink from Brako, a matching pink purse and some fancy sun glasses, you'll nail it. Try your pineapple look!
