Summer is right around the corner and with it comes a change of footwear. We lose the socks and tights and our feet start to suffer. We’ll tell you how to avoid those painful rubs and blisters.
1.- Choose the right size
It’s important to take into account that our feet swell a bit in the summer with the heat which of course makes our shoes tighter. Buy shoes that are the right size for summer days. It’s a good idea to try shoes at the end of the day when this is likely to have happened.
You can put cream on the inside of your shoe on the areas where it rubs so that it’s more slippery. Focus on the edges and seams. This is especially good with leather shoes as it will soften and mould to your foot.
3.- Trainer socks
These little half socks come in a variety of shapes and fabrics to suit almost any summer shoe. Not only do they protect your feet but contrary to what you might have thought, they actually make your feet fresher as they absorb sweat.
We hope these tips help you to enjoy the good weather and comfortable feet this summer.
